What is the main cause that leads to the need of detoxification

Before commenting on how many stages detoxification can be performed, the main reason why detox is required should be indicated. Everyone knows that if we do not eat, the body can not live. The main mistake is that people do not select products and dishes according to their usefulness for the organism, but nutrition is rather chaotic – without an established regimen that is consistent with the biological activity of the organs and systems. How many people explore the food labels in the supermarkets, taking into account their total calorific value, the content of fat, protein, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins, the Е- preservatives and artificial colorants, flavors, preservatives, stabilizers and emulsifiers? The answer is: not many people. 

Moreover, since people are busy all day until the “dark hours”, they have not found time to eat anything else than just a fatty banitsa, sandwich, croissant, döner kebab or biscuits. The lower the index, the more the release of energy is slower, resulting in a sense of satiety for a longer period of time. And vice versa – when we consume foods with a high glycemic index, the blood sugar increases rapidly, the energy releases quickly, so our strength decreases, but our appetite increases.

The dishes and soups can be prepared of lentils, millet, brown rice, buckwheat, quinoa and other products. At the same time, we need amino acids and carbohydrates that will strengthen the liver, because this organ will neutalize the released toxins. Amino acids can be obtained from brown rice, lentils, soy, etc. Carbohydrates can be obtained from the buckwheat, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, zucchini, potatoes, etc. These are complex carbohydrates that are slowly absorbed and useful because they help the control of blood sugar and cholesterol.

How to end the actual detox

Ending the actual detox should also be performed gradually. It can be done in the clinic, but if the patient decided to do it at home, the specialists will design an individual nutritional regimen for him. These include  both lists with useful and contraindicated foods, and a menu sequence  and way of consumption. The principle is to continue with small portions and regular meals: breakfast – brunch, lunch – afternoon snack – dinner 19 p.m. at the latest.  

The first few day the diet should include the vegetables consumed during the actual detox in the form of juices, smoothies, soups, stewed vegetables, then we should gradually start consume these raw.  The goal is to nourish the healthy microflora of the intestines. Gradually and in a certain sequence we should include low-fat dairy products, eggs, meats – white chicken meat or turkey. 

The consumption of teas and food supplements should continue for another month or two at the discretion of the specialists. On the third or fourth day, for example, we can consume fruits and vegetables at lunch, and the afternoon snack may include soaked raisins and oatmeal. 

At noon, when the organism boosts the digestion, we can consume a little lean meat with vegetables, rye bread – one slice, or cooked rice or steamed potatoes. The dinner is recommended to be “protein” – proteins do not accumulate fats, but create a sense of satiety. You can consume curds, salad with some cheese on top, eggs, and so on. The next few days slowly switch to the normal diet for a longer period – as it was mentioned, according to a plan set by the specialists.
