Naturally, every person wants to look good and be in good shape all year round. Weight loss is undoubtedly the goal of many people, but not everyone can achieve it in a healthy way. When it comes to successful weight loss, the first thing that most of us think is following astrict diet and hard workouts. There is no doubt that reducing the calorific intake and burning more calories leads to weight loss. But the question ishow quick we can achieve this in order to lose the weight successfully without damaging our health.

Unfortunately, our dynamic daily lives doesn’t always allow us to achieve good results with regard to weight loss. And the truth is that healthy reduction of weight leads to best results in the long term, unlike the unhealthy, which inevitably leads to consequences for our health.

It is not impossible tolose weight within a short time. But the successful weight loss happens when we preserve the good results for a longer time even after we have increased the calorific intake after the end of the diet.

One of the traps that the pharmaceutical industry imposes are the pills for weight loss. In search of an effective way to lose weight many of us can be attracted by the colorful advertisements of products and herbal weight loss supplementsthat promise great results without any efforts.

It is good to know, however, that without the proper diet and sports activities we won’t be able to achieve the desired shape only by buying weight loss pills. Unfortunately, there is no single magic formula that will help us get rid of the extra kilograms without any efforts from our side.

Quick weight loss doesn’t always bring the positive results we want it to bring. The drastic reduction in the calorific intake can help us to lose weight within a short period of time, but this doesn’t guarantee that our health won‘t be damaged.

Rapid weight loss may have the opposite effect after that, because it is possible for us to gain back the lost kilograms if we rapidly go back to our old nutritional regimen. The reason for that is due to the fact that we do not give our body the time and opportunity to adapt to the changes in our lifestyle, and generally our organism is under stress. So it is best the reduction of calories to happen gradually.

We come to the conclusion that the more gradually we lose weight and the more slowly we go back to the old regimen after the end of the diet, the more likely we are to preserve the achieved results.

Experts are of the opinion that changes in the diet and in our lifestyle in order to quickly lose weight, are difficult to maintain in the long run. And when we see the lack of positive results we can lose our motivation and there is a possibility that we go back to old unhealthy habitsin our diet and lifestyle.

What are the consequences of rapid weight loss for our body?

Wedon’t burn only fats

There is no doubt that rapid weight loss hides certain negative consequences for our health. The main goal of weight loss diets is fat loss. But the fast weight loss is not always a guarantee that our body burns fat.

The normal and healthy speed of weight lossis averagely from half to one kilogram per week. Normally is hard for our body to burn a lot of fat within a short period of time, which is a natural mechanism for self-protection given by nature. When this happens, apart from the fats, our body loses alsowater and muscles, as they also count in the weight loss.
